Green Schools Awareness Week.

In Scoil Bhride Buachailli we have been learning all about litter and waste. We learned the importance of reducing, re-using and recycling our rubbish. We have a system in place where we recycle our paper and this goes into the green bin. Our food waste from our lunchboxes must go home with us to be disposed of responsibly at home.

We have been watching videos online to learn more about the environment. We even had Minister Roderic O’ Gorman send us a personalised video to congratulate our school for receiving our green flag.

We had a great day raising our green flag and will continue to work hard with recycling in school.
