MATHS WEEK IS COMING UP and at Scoil Bhríde Buachaillí we’re running a competition to celebrate it! We are going to take Maths outside of the classroom and turn it into something real and meaningful!
Your child’s Maths homework for this week will be to take a photograph which poses a Maths problem and put a question with it. There are some examples below but you can find many more examples, including a video to get you started on www.haveyougotmathseyes.com
You have all week to complete this task, all entries must be in school by Monday the 14th of October. Feel free to print your picture out at home and give it to your class teacher, or you can send your entry into school by emailing it to sbbmathseyes@gmail.com. Don’t forget to include your name and class teacher in the subject line. GOOD LUCK!
